In Daniel’s Footsteps: Guided walk in Welsh

Starting at St Mary’s church to see the registers which recorded the burials of Daniel’s father and two brothers, this short walk passes Milford Street where he chaired meetings of the 1873 Eisteddfod committee, and Bailey Hill where he must have played as a child to see where he lived for nearly all of his life and the new house which he had built and which has recently received a blue plaque to record the event. An easy walk along pavements taking about one and a half hours.
