The Daniel Owen Festival
We’re back again in 2022. A week-long bilingual arts heritage and literature festival in Mold, Flintshire and surrounding area dedicated to author Daniel Owen. It is held around the end of October the anniversary of his birth and death. This year it runs again from Saturday 15th until Friday 21st October.
In the meantime why not check out another of the town’s festivals. Mold Bookfest takes place between 19th-22 May. Visit their FaceBook page for information here

Festival 2022
We’re pleased to announce that the Daniel Owen Festival will be back again this year. Depending on what happens it may again be a mixture of live and virtual events or we may again be able to meet face to face and enjoy each other’s company at all the events. You will be pleased to hear last year’s hybrid festival was a great success and the dedicated small group of volunteers is again busy organising a programme full of interest and enjoyment for everyone. It will celebrate the famous author after whom the festival is named and the area’s heritage, language and culture. It will be a celebration of the area’s unique cultural, literary and artistic life past and present. I hope you will join us. Let’s hope that we can all meet on the Square again!
