To make sure your entries are valid, please follow these rules:

• Only one entry per person.
• 1,000 word limit.
• Your name, age, email, phone number, address and title of your work must be included in the email you send, not on the entry itself. 
• Attach your entry to the email and send it to
• Entries can be typed or handwritten.
• Poems, short stories or plays in all styles of writing are welcome to be submitted in English or Welsh.
• Entries must be the entrant’s own original work.
• Entrants must be aged 11-25 years.
• Please keep a copy of your work as we will not be able to return it.
• Copyright remains with the author.
• Closing date is midnight on Monday 2 October 2023.
