The guided walk of about three to four miles will take you around the fascinating site and abandoned buildings of the former Valley Works at Rhydymwyn which was tasked during WWII with preparing for the use of chemical weapons. It later played a part in the development of processes which would lead to a nuclear bomb. It is now a peaceful haven for wildlife. The easy walk is on surfaced paths, with no stiles, and no hills and should last between one and a half and two hours.
