This time, find out more about the town’s fascinating industrial past and the reason the Owen family moved to the town – cotton and corn mills, and tin works from knowledgeable guidesThis walk will take in a path along the River Alun and from there to the site of the old cotton mill and back via the Black Brook area where a forgotten pioneer of the labour union movement lived.
