In association with Clwydian Ramblers, we’ll be exploring the poignant sites in Leeswood linked to the events and social unrest which culminated in the Mold Riots during summer 1869. Four people were tragically killed that day including two women, and dozens more were injured.

The walk is approximately 3 miles long on footpaths and roads with two or three stiles and includes a look at John Young’s house that became the centre of all the trouble! Historical background will be given by Kevin Matthias.

This is a free event in English, safely led following government guidelines, by trained volunteers from Clwydian Ramblers.

Booking is essential please email  as places will be limited.
