A short walk in the Alyn Valley, the setting of the novel ‘Enoc Huws’

- Where: Meet in the outer car park of the DEFRA site at 17, Nant Alyn Road, Rhydymwyn, CH7 65HQ. From Mold take the A541 to Denbigh, then at Rhydymwyn, opposite the service station turn left into Nant Alyn Road, The DEFRA site is on the left after the houses.

Start from outer car park at DEFRA site, then surfaced road to Nant Alyn, dirt track to Hazelwood Cottage and dIsused quarry, then footpath up incline to Penyfron Chapel then down surfaced lanes past Twmpath farm back to the Defra site; about 3 miles, 1hr 30mins, no stiles, no gates.
