Theatr Clwyd Young Writer’s Competition Event

One of the highlights of the Daniel Owen Festival is the annual Theatr Clwyd Young Writer’s Competition.  

This year please come and join an immersive theatrical evening at Theatr Clwyd. A chance to see emerging young writers’ work come to life. The theme for this year’s competition is  “The Sea”

We will be led around different locations within the Theatr to see Cwmni25 (Theatr Clwyd’s youth theatre) performing the best pieces from the 2018 competition for writers aged 10-25. We will end in the Clwyd Room for a bite to eat and a chance to congratulate the young writers.

Come and be delighted by this fun-filled and thought provoking event which celebrates and encourages young people’s literary creativity.  Invite all your friends!  We are thrilled to hear there has been a record-breaking number of entries this year!
