One of the highlights of the Daniel Owen Festival is the annual Clwyd Theatr Cymru Young Writer’s Competition .  The photograph shows the 2016 three winning writers: (l to r) Branwen Davies, Rachel Carr and Rebecca Barnard.

Professional actors will bring the stories to life as they read the winning entry at the award ceremony and  the winner will receive their cash prize and crystal trophy.

Come and be delighted by this fun-filled and thought provoking event which celebrates and encourages young people’s literary creativity.
