The History of Nercwys Mountain

Location: Meet in Queen's Head car park, Chester Road, Mold CH7 1UQ, for car sharing to Nercwys Mountain

Visit a fascinating area of Nercwys Mountain described in Daniel Owen’s novels, guided by Walkabout Flintshire walkers. An easy-moderate walk of about 1:30-2:00 hours.  We are pleased to announce that we will be accompanied by Fiona Gale, the well-known archaeologist with a wealth of local knowledge, who will tell us about the changing landscape and features of this fascinating upland area.

Meet at the Queen’s Head car park on Chester Street, Mold for car sharing to Nercwys Mountain. It should be an interesting and informal event. We anticipate being back in Mold by approximately 4:30pm.

In English and free.
