The History of Nercwys Mountain

Location: Meet in Queen's Head car park, Chester Road, Mold CH7 1UQ, for car sharing for journey to Nercwys mountain

Visit a fascinating area of Nercwys Mountain described in Daniel Owen’s novels, guided by Walkabout Flintshire walkers. An easy-moderate walk of about 1:30-2:00 hours.  We are pleased to announce that we will be accompanied by Fiona Gale  the well-known archaeologist with a wealth of local knowledge who will tell us about the changing landscape and features of this fascinating upland area.

Meet at the Queen’s Head car park on Chester Street, Mold for car sharing to Nercwys Mountain. We will be joined on the walk by Dave Williams of Natural Resources Wales who will talk, while we walk about the management of Coedwig Nercwys.
