Location: Meet at the Loggerheads Visitor Centre
Take a leisurely walk with Denbighshire Countryside service expert David Shiel and learn about the history and ecology of the fascinating area of Loggerheads. This was the location for much of the action in Daniel Owen’s novel Enoc Huws based on lead mining and the characters that surrounded the industry. The walk along the Leete path should take about an hour and a half and there’s a welcoming cafe for some refreshment before the journey home. English language event.
